About Me

My name is Nick — I created the “Home Is” Project for my thesis at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.  I have always been intrigued by homelessness, both in the U.S. and abroad — it is a deeply symbolic issue that points at human nature, structural inequality, and much more.  Pairing this interest with the influence of well-known blogs such as “Humans of New York” and “Portraits of America”, I decided to start a blog of my own. It is my sincere hope that you, and anyone who comes in contact with “Home Is”, leaves with a renewed appreciation for human-kind — both in the world and in yourself.
