“What we’re trying to do is called Boulder Occupy.  We’re trying to keep the police off of people when people camp in the city.  Keeping’ the police from rifling’ through people’s stuff when they’re not there and just bullying’ on people.

The police come in, kick everybody out, and you know, we don’t have anywhere to go in this town.   We’ve been ran off five times from five places.  We’ve had enough runnin’ from the cops, runnin’ from city ordinances.

People here in this building – they’re causing the whole problem.  What we’re doing is telling the police that we’re human beings, we’re American citizens, and we deserve to be treated humanely and with dignity.”
